एक सच्ची घटना पर लिखी नॉवेल ओर  फिल्म की कहानी फ्रॉम Mr Mk

        Rabbit Proof Fence जो एक कांटो की बाड़ है और दुनिया की सबसे लंबी कंपाउंड वाल है। पिछले पार्ट में ये आप पढ़ चुके है। अब आगे की कहानी

           वक़्त है 1931 का उस वक़्त  अंग्रेजों ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया के मूल आदिवासी यो को अपनी सम्पती समझ ते थे। उनपर अलग अलग तरह के कानून थोप दिये जाते जिस से आदिवासी बगावत न कर सके और गुलामो की त्तरह रहे। आदिवासी को संभाल ने के  लिए गोरों की सरकारने एक बंदे को आदिवासी लोगो का लीगल गार्डियन  बना दिया। ये शख्स बड़ा हरामी था जिसका नाम O'नेविल था। 

          पिछले सो सालो से गोरे लोग आदिवासी पर अत्याचार करते रहे। उनकी लड़कियों के साथ संबंध बनाते रहे और उन से पैदा हुए बच्चो को छोड़ जाते। इन बच्चियों को HALF CAST CHILD (हाफ कास्ट चाइल्ड) कहा जाता हैं।

      इन हाफ कास्ट लड़कियो   को गोरे लोग जबर्दस्ती से उनके घर वालो से छीन लेते और पर्थ सहेर के एक आश्रम में रखते थे जहाँ लड़कियों को तौर तरीके सिखाये जाते। 

         ये सब करने के पीछे अंग्रेजों  का मकसद ये था कि इन लड़कियों को जवान होने के बाद गोरों से शादी करवा दी जाये ओर उंनसे पैदा  हुई लड़कियों को जवान कर के फिरसे गोरों से शादी करवा दी जाती थी व। क्युके इसके दो पीढ़ी के बाद होने वाले बच्चे हाफ कास्ट नही रहेंगे वो पूरे के पूरे अंग्रेज बन जायेंगे। इसी जूठी मान्यता पर हर गांव की हाफ कास्ट  लड़कियों को उंसके परिवार से छीन कर दूर ले जाते थे।

            ऐसी ही एक कहानी CHIGALONG गाँव की है जहां 3 आदिवासी हाफ कास्ट लडकिया रहती है। इंसमे सब्स बड़ी लड़की का नाम मौली है जो 14साल की है। मोली की छोटी बहन डेज़ी    है जो 8साल की है। मोली की कजन सिस्टर भी है जो 10 साल की है। 

       इन तीनो पर एक दिन दो पुलिस वालो कि नजर गयी और फिर व्हॉ से संदेश भेजा गया। कुछ ही दिनों में सरकारी मुस्टंडे इन तीनो हॉफ कास्ट लड़कियों को जबरदसती अपने माँ ओर  नानी से अलग कर के 2400 किलोमीटर दूर पर्थ सहेर तक रेल गाड़ी से भिजवा दिया गया। रेल गाड़ी के अंदर पिंजरे में तीनों को जानवरों की तरह बन्द कर के मंजिल तक पहुँचाय गया।  

        मोली ओर इसकी दोनो बहन को वहाँ खेत ओर घरों के काम शिखाया जाता है। एक दिन  एक लड़की अपने बॉयफ्रेंड से मिलने सेंटर से भाग जाती है लेकिन गोरों ने एक आदिवासी ट्रैकर   *पगी* को काम पर रखा है जो इंसानों के कदमों के निशान को वो ट्रेक करता हुआ किस दिशा में इंसान गया है उसे पकड़ लेता है। उस लड़की को पकड़ने के बाद उसे एक कमरे में खूब मारा पीटा जाता है। दूर से मोली ओर उसकी दोनो बहन ये सब देख रही होती है। मोली अब किसी भी हिसाब से इस कैद खाने से निकलना चाहती है पर उसे ट्रैकर का डर है जो उन्हें मिनटों में पकड़ लेगा। पर मोली भी बहुत ही होशियार होती है। वो ट्रेककर को चकमा कैसे देना है वो आईडिया उंसके दिमाग मे आ जाता है।

       एक सुबह जब सारे बच्चे वहां के चर्च में प्रार्थना करने जाते है तब मोली मौका देखकर अपनी दोनो बहेनो को लेकर व्हॉ से निकल जाती है। पूरा दिन निकल जाता है लेकिन किसी को पता नही के मोली ओर उसकी बहने भाग गई है। रात को गिन्ति के वक्त पता चलता है। ये खबर सबका बोस नेविल सुनता है तो गुस्से से लाल हो जाता है और ट्रैकर को उनके पीछे लगा देता है। कुछ भी कर के उन 3लड़कियों वापस ले आने का हुक्म देता है। ये खबर पूरे ऑस्ट्रेलिया में सभी सरकारी अफसर ओर सिपाहियो को पता चलती है। मोली की माँ को भी पता चलता है और वो मोली की सलामती की दुआ मांगती है। इधर मोली भाग तो गयी है पर उसे किस दिशा में जाना है वो पता नही था। 

      ट्रेकर भी मोली के कदमो को ट्रैक करता हुआ नजदीक आ रहा था लेकिन मौली लागतार भाग ते हुए जा रही थी। अब दो दिन हो चुके है। जब एक नदी आती है तो मोली अपनी बहन के पास रखी एक बैग को नदी किनारे जडियो में टांग देती है ओर पानी के अंदर ही चलने लगती है ताकि ट्रेककर को पाँव के निशान न मिले। पर ट्रैकर भी शातिर दिमाग वो अपने घोड़े से मौली के पास पहुँच जाता है। मौली घोड़े के कदमो की आवाज सुन लेती है और तीनों एक बड़ी झाड़ी में छुप जाती है। इस से पहले के ट्रेककर उन्हें पकड़ ले वो 3 घन्टे तक छुपी रहती है। जब ट्रेककर को कुछ नही मिलता तब वो वापस चला जाता है। अब मोली अपनी बहेनो को लेकर एक गाँव से गुजरती है। जहाँ एक आदिवासी अपने शिकार किये हुए जानवर को कंधे पर रखकर आ रहा होता है। मोली उस से मदद मांगती है। वो शख्स उन्हें पहचान जाता है और उन्हें बताता है कि तुमारा गाँव यहाँ से हजारो मिल दूरी पर है। जहाँ पहुचने से पहले ही तुम्हे पकड़ लिया जायेगा क्योंकि ट्रैकर बहुत हुशियार है और सैकड़ों भागे लोगों को पकड़कर वापस केम्प ले जाता है।आज की रात यही रुको पर सुबह जल्दी निकल जाना। वो आदमी तीनो को अपने किये शिकार किये जानवर की बोटी खिलाता है। बहुत दिनों बाद मौली ओर उसकी बहने खाना देखा। 

          इधर ट्रैकर नदी के बाद  मौली के गायब कदमो के निशान देख नही पाता और वापस कैम्प चला जाता है। मौली सुबह जल्दी उठकर चलने लगती है। जब एक ओर दिन ढलने वाला होता है तब मौली को एक मकान दिखता है। उस मकान के बाहर पिंजरे में मुर्गी के अंडे देखती। तीनो को भूख लगी है तो मोली अंडे चूरा ने जाती है लेकिन उसी वक्त उस मकान की मालकिन जो गोरी है वो उसे पकड़ लेती है और मौली की सच्चाई जानकर उन्हें खाना खिलाती है और कपड़े भी देती है। सुबह जब मोली अपनी बहनों के साथ निकलती है तब वो गोरी औरत उनको कहती है के यहाँ के लड़कों से बच कर रहना वो रैबिट फैंस के पास शिकार करने जाते है। रैबिट फैंस नाम सुनते ही मौली का दिमाग चमक जाता है ओर दुबारा उस फैंस के बारे में ओर जगह के बारे में पूछती है।  उसे पता है कि ये फैंस सीधी उनके गाँव की तरफ जाती है। इतने दिनों बिना मतलब भटकने के बाद आखिर वो खरगोश वाली फैंस को देखकर खुश हो जाती है और उसी फैंस के साथ साथ थोड़ी दूरी पर वो तीनो चलती रहती है। एक उम्मीद के साथ कि वो घर पहुचकर ही रहेगी।

थोड़े दिन फैन्स के साथ चलने के बाद एक गोरा उन्हें मिलता है जो उन्हें खाना खिलाता है और मौली की कहानी जानता है। अब गोरा बोलता है की इस फेंस के साथ चलकर तुम गलत दिशा जा रही हो। ये वेस्टर्न ऑस्ट्रेलिया जाती है। मोली पूछती है कितनी फैंस है ऑस्ट्रेलिया में तब उसे पता चलता है कि 3 अलग अलग फेंस है। गोरा उन्हें सही और सो किलोमीटर शोर्ट वाला रास्ता दिखाता है। अब मौली उसपर चलते चलते  एकदिन एक मकान देखती है और वहा पर एक आदिवासी औरत उन्हें पहचान जाती है। वो मोली को बताती है कि तुमारे भागने की खबर न्यूज़ पेपर में आ चुकी है। तुम्हे सम्भल कर रहना होगा। वो आदिवासी औरत भी खुद उसी केम्प में रहकर गोरे से शादी कर के यहाँ रहने आयी थी। रात को मौली ओर बहनों को खाना और  सोने का बंदोबस्त करती है। उसी वक़्त उसका गोरा पति इन लड़कियां देखकर चला जाता है। मौली को शक होता है के वो खबरी तो नही लेकिन वो औरत उन्हें ऐसा कुछ नही कहकर सुला देती है। थोड़ी देर बाद मौली को गाड़ियों की आवाज सुनाई देती है और वो समझ जाती है। वो औरत उन्हें घर के पीछे झाड़ियों में से भगा देती है। उस गाड़ी में कुछ अफसर ओर वही ट्रेककर होता है जो अंधेरे में उनके कदम न दिखने की वजह से  सुबह में उन्हें ट्रेक  करता है लेकिन कदमो के निशान की जगह झाड़ियों के पत्ते बिखरे पड़े थे। ट्रैकर  समझ जाता है कि मौली ने चलते हुए पीछे की ओर झाड़ियों की मदद से अपने कदमों को मिटा दियाथा। ट्रेककर फिर से ना कामयाब होता है। 

        उधर पर्थ में ऑफिसर नेविल सब को हुक्म करता है के पूरे ऑस्ट्रेलिया में इस बात का एलान करवा दो की मोली की कजन सिस्टर ग्रेसी की माँ उसका वेलुना सहेर में इंतेजार कर रही है। ये एक आईडिया था उनको पकड़ ने का। एक दिन चलने के बाद एक गोरा सिपाही उन तीनों को देखता है और उन्हें खाना पानी देता है। थोड़ी देर बाद वो ग्रेसी को खबर देता है कि तुमारी मा नजदीकी वेलुना सहेर में तुमारा इंतेजार कर रही है। तुम तीनो चाहो तो मेरे साथ ट्रेन से चल सकते हो। मोली ये सुनकर खड़ी हो गयी पर ग्रेसी को उस सिपाही की बात सच लगती है। मोली उसे बहुत समझाती है लेकिन ग्रेसी मानती नही है। अब मौली अपनी छोटी और सगी बहन के साथ वापस घर का रास्ता पकड़ लेती है। दूसरी तरफ ग्रेसी उस सिपाही के साथ अपनी माँ से मिलने जाती है जो ग्रेसी की बड़ी गलती थी। 

      इधर मौली थोड़ी दूर जाकर वापस ग्रेसी को लेने आती है। ग्रेसी उस वक़्त एक रेलवे स्टेशन की बेंच पर अकेली बैठी होती है गाड़ी के इंतजार में। मौली ओर उसकी बहन उसे दूर से छुपकर देख रहे होते है। मौली एक सिटी मार कर ग्रेसी का ध्यान अपनी ओर खिंचकर उसे पास आने को कहती है। ग्रेसी भी उसकी ओर चलने लगती है कि अचानक एक मोटर कार आ जाती है ग्रेसी को जबर्दस्ती पकड़ कर गाड़ी में डाल देते है। इधर मौली ओर उसकी बहन को बड़ा झटका लग ता है और फिर से दोनो चलने लगती है।

          आज 21 दिन बाद   नेविल जो कमीना अफसर है वो जानता है कि मौली रैबिट फेंस के साथ ही चलेगी।  वो मौली के किस जगह पहुँच गयी हॉगी उसका अनुमान नक्शे में देखता है। और वहा पर अपने आदमियों को तैनात करता है जिनको  वहाँ मौली का  इंतेजार करना होगा पर मौली व्हॉ आती ही नही है क्युके मौली ने उस भले गोरे इंसान की 100किलोमीटर शॉर्ट वाली बात मान ली थी और कोई उसे पकड़ न पाया। 

     अब नेविल मौली के गांव CHHIGALONG के अफसर को खत लिखता है कि मौली ओर उसकी बहन 15 दिनों में उनके गांव पहुचेगी। उसे तरन्त पकड़ के वापस मेरे पास भेज देना।  

       मौली बहुत मशक्कत स आखिर अपने गाँव पहुँच ती है जहाँ गाँव के बाहर ही उसकी माँ और नानी उनका इंतजार कर रही होती है। सब गले मिलते है तभी वो अफसर उन्हें पकड़ ने आता है लेकिन मौली की माँ एक लकड़ी के इस्तेमाल से उसे दूर भागा देती है। सब लोग उस गाँव को छोड़कर एक नए बीहड़ में रहने चले जाते है। 

      ये थी कहानी मौली ओर उसकी दो बहेनो की। जिन्होंने अपने केम्प से  घर पहुचने में 63दिन लगाये। बिना जूतों ओर चप्पलों के 2400 किलोमीटर जितना लंबा सफर कियॉ। ऐसी हिम्मत आज तक किसीने नही की है। 

        मौली को ढूढने में नेविल को बड़ा ख़र्चा लगा था। अब नेविल के पास उनको पकड़ने के लिए फंड नही था। इसके साथ ही केस बंद हो जाता है।

       मौली की कजिन बहन ग्रेसी का  आज तक कोई पता नही मिला। पर दोनो बहने लंबी जिंदगी जी कर दुनिय्या को अलविदा कह। मौली की 2004 में हुई और छोटी बहन की मौत 2018 में हुई। 

     तो ये थी कहानी उन खरगोशों की जिन्होंने तबाही मचाई ओर मौली के लिए indirectly मदद भी की।

            The time is 1931, at that time the British considered the original Aborigines of Australia as their property. Different types of laws were imposed on them so that the tribals could not revolt and live like slaves. To handle the tribals, the government of the whites made a man the legal guardian of the tribal people. This man was a big bastard whose name was O'Neville.

           For the last so many years, white people have been atrocities on the tribals. They continued to have relations with their girls and would leave the children born to them. These girls are called HALF CAST CHILD (Half Cast Child).

       These half-caste girls were forcibly snatched by white men from their families and kept in an ashram in Perth, Saher, where the girls were taught manners.

          The purpose of the British behind doing all this was that these girls should be married to whites after they were young and the girls born to them were made young and married again to whites. Because the children born after two generations will not remain half cast, they will become full Englishmen. On this false belief, the half-caste girls of every village were snatched away from their families and taken away.

             One such story is of CHIGALONG village where 3 tribal half cast girls live. In this, the name of the elder girl is Molly, who is 14 years old. Mollie's younger sister is Daisy who is 8 years old. Molly also has a cousin sister who is 10 years old.

        One day two policemen caught sight of these three and then a message was sent from where. Within a few days, these three half-caste girls were forcibly separated from their mother and maternal grandmother and sent by train to Perth Saher, 2400 km away. In the cage inside the train, all three were locked like animals and taken to the floor.

         Moli and her two sisters are trained there to work in the fields and households. One day a girl runs away from the center to meet her boyfriend, but the whites have hired a tribal tracker *Pagi* to track the human footsteps in which direction they have gone. After catching that girl, she is beaten up in a room. Molly and her two sisters are watching all this from afar. Mollie now wants to escape the prison by any means necessary, but she fears the tracker will catch them in minutes. But Molly is also very smart. The idea of ​​how to dodge the trekker comes to his mind.

        One morning when all the children go to the church there to pray, Molly sees the opportunity and leaves the place with her two sisters. The whole day passes but no one knows that Moli and her sisters have run away. It is known at the time of counting at night. When a river comes, Moli hangs a bag kept with her sister in the pond on the banks of the river and walks under the water so that the trekker does not get footprints. But the tracker also has a clever mind that he reaches Molly with his horse. Molly hears the footsteps of the horse and the trio hides in a big bush. Before this trekker catches them, she stays hidden for 3 hours. When Trekker doesn't find anything, he goes back. Now Moli passes through a village with her sisters. Where a tribal is coming with his hunted animal on his shoulder. Molly asks him for help. The person recognizes them and tells them that your village is thousands of miles away from here. Where you will be caught before you reach because the tracker is very smart and catches hundreds of runaway people and takes them back to the camp. Wait tonight but leave early in the morning. The man feeds all three of the bounty of the animal he hunted. After a long time, Molly and her sisters saw food.

           Here the trekker is unable to see the traces of Molly's missing footsteps after the river and goes back to the camp. Molly gets up early in the morning and starts walking. When the day is about to turn towards one side, Molly sees a house. He used to see chicken eggs in the cage outside that house. When all three are hungry, Molly goes to chop the eggs, but at the same time the mistress of that house, who is fair, catches her and knowing the truth of Molly, feeds them and also gives them clothes. When Molly leaves with her sisters in the morning, the white lady tells them to stay away from the boys and go hunting for rabbit fans. Molly's mind flashes as soon as she hears the name Rabbit Fans and again asks about that fan and about the place. He knows that these fans go straight to his village. After wandering for so many days, finally she becomes happy to see the rabbit fans and along with the same fans, all three of them keep walking at a short distance. With a hope that she will stay home after reaching home.

 After walking with the fans for a few days, they meet a gora who feeds them and knows Molly's story. Now Gora says that you are going in the wrong direction by walking along this fence. It goes to Western Australia. Molly asks how many fans are there in Australia then she comes to know that there are 3 different fans. Gora shows them the correct and shortest route. Now while walking on it, Molly sees a house and a tribal woman recognizes them there. She tells Molly that the news of your escape has come in the newspaper. You have to be careful. That tribal woman herself had come to live here after marrying a white woman living in the same camp. At night, Molly and her sisters arrange for food and sleep. At the same time, her fair husband leaves after seeing these girls. Molly suspects that she is not the news but the woman puts her to sleep saying nothing like that. After a while, Molly hears the sound of trains and she understands. The woman drives them through the bushes behind the house. There is some officer in that car and the same trekker who tracks them in the morning because of not seeing their steps in the dark, but instead of the footprints, the leaves of the bushes were scattered. Tracker understands that Molly had erased her steps while walking backwards with the help of bushes. Trekker fails again.

         In Perth, Officer Neville orders everyone to announce to all of Australia that Sister Gracie's mother, Molly's cousin, is waiting for her at Veluna Saher. It was an idea to catch them. After walking one day a white soldier sees the three of them and gives them food and water. After a while he informs Gracie that your mother is waiting for you at nearby Veluna Saher. If you all want, you can walk with me by train. Molly stood up after hearing this, but Gracie finds the soldier's words to be true. Molly explains a lot to him but Gracie does not agree. Now Molly, along with her younger and real sister, makes her way back home. On the other hand, Gracie goes to visit her mother with the soldier who was Gracie's big mistake.

       Here Molly goes a short distance and comes back to pick up Gracie. At that time Gracie is sitting alone on the bench of a railway station waiting for the train. Molly and her sister are watching her from a distance. Molly grabs Gracie's attention by hitting a whistle and asks her to come closer. Gracie also starts walking towards him that suddenly a motor car comes and forcefully grabs Gracie and puts her in the car. Here Molly and her sister get a big blow and again both of them start walking.

           Today, 21 days later, Neville, who is a bastard officer, knows that Molly will go with Rabbit Fence. She looks at the map of where Molly would have reached. And deploys his men there, who will have to wait for Molly there, but Molly who does not come because Molly had accepted that good white man's 100 km short and no one could catch him.

      Now Neville writes a letter to the officer of Molly's village CHHIGALONG that Molly and her sister will reach their village in 15 days. Catch him immediately and send it back to me.

        Molly with great difficulty finally reaches her village where her mother and grandmother are waiting for her just outside the village. Everyone hugs when the officer comes to catch them but Molly's mother drives her away using a stick. Everyone leaves that village and goes to live in a new ravine.

       This was the story of Molly and her two sisters. Who took 63 days to reach home from his camp. Traveled as long as 2400 km without shoes and slippers. No one has done such courage till date.

         It cost Neville a lot to find Molly. Now Neville did not have the funds to catch him. With this the case is closed.

        No address of Molly's cousin sister Gracie has been found till date. But both sisters say goodbye to the world after living a long life. Molly died in 2004 and the younger sister died in 2018.

      So this was the story of the rabbits who caused havoc and indirectly helped Molly.
